For those of you wondering why ASX: SER Strategic Energy Resources is up today on double average volume it is likely the article in the Australian "Monash University students tap miracle carbon to cleanse water" is worth a read. "MAGNETS and a Nobel prize-winning wonder material could be used to overcome toxic overload in the world?s waterways." http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/health-science/monash-university-students-tap-miracle-carbon-to-cleanse-water/story-e6frg8y6-1227221908433
Graphene research

SER has had a funding research alliance with Monash University for over 4 years.
SER has been a joint recipient, with Monash, of an ARC Linkage grant from the Australian Government and is the only grant given to date for graphene research.
SER has received ATO reimbursement under the Research and Development legislation.
Monash University researchers have successfully synthesized highly exfoliated graphene-oxide from the mined graphitic fines supplied by SER.
SER through its newly incorporated company, Graphitech Pty Ltd, is currently finalising a license agreement with Monash for their break-through graphite technology in the field of Nanotechnology enabled electrochemical energy storage materials from indigenous natural graphite.
A further joint collaboration between SER and Monash for another ARC Linkage grant has been submitted for review. The proposed research is titled - Functionally and Structurally Engineered Sorbent and Membrane Materials from Indigenous Natural Graphite by Exfoliation and Designed Reconstitution.
