Default Melbourne city’s gas mains hydrogen-ready

This is an article about Melbourne being ready for hydrogen. It discusses Australian Gas Networks (AGN) completing a two-decade upgrade to its infrastructure, making the city’s gas mains hydrogen-ready. The article also mentions AGN’s investment in Hydrogen Park Murray Valley in Wodonga, which will allow 40,000 households, businesses and industrial sites in the region to receive hydrogen blends of up to 10 per cent in just 18 months’ time. AGN’s chief executive officer Craig de Laine believes that hydrogen is a ready to move technology that can be part of everyday living. He also said that AGN is investing in a variety of decarbonisation options to ensure that it can meet Australia’s emissions reduction targets.
