Default Towards enhanced reservoir Geothermal

"Fervo heralds a revolution in geothermal power technology" from New Atlas:

Fervo Energy, a geothermal energy company, has successfully tested its "next-generation geothermal" technology. The company's technology uses horizontal drilling to access hot rocks deep underground, which can then be used to generate electricity. Fervo's first full-scale commercial pilot, Project Red in Nevada, has produced a flow rate of 63 liters per second, at temperatures up to 191 °C (376 °F). This is enough to power 500 US homes.

Fervo's technology has the potential to revolutionize the geothermal energy industry. Traditional geothermal plants require high-temperature reservoirs, which are limited in number and location. Fervo's technology, on the other hand, can access lower-temperature reservoirs, which are more widespread. This could make geothermal energy more accessible and affordable, and could help to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Visit Fervo: https://fervoenergy.com/fervo-energy...on-geothermal/
