Default Vanadium Battery Manufacturing in Townsville Qld

As part of a $26 million project, the first commercial-scale vanadium flow battery electrolyte manufacturing facility will be built in Townsville, Queensland.

The Townsville Vanadium Battery Manufacturing Facility will produce the electrolyte used in grid-scale vanadium flow batteries – a type of battery leading the energy storage revolution. https://www.australianmining.com.au/...with-vanadium/

Set to potentially benefit are several Queensland based vanadium plays, including Critical Minerals Group (ASX:CMG), Richmond Vanadium Technology (ASX:RVT) and QEM Limited (ASX:QEM), whose flagship Julia Creek Project is easily one of the single largest vanadium deposits in the world.

With vanadium starting to come into its own as the next great battery metal, QEM couldn’t have picked a better time to announce extraction rates of up to 98% from its Julia Creek Shale project in Queensland. https://stockhead.com.au/resources/o...s-julia-shale/
