Default Why rooftop solar is so crucial

There are now 3.5 million rooftop installations across Australia, generating 20,000 gigawatt hours of electricity every year.

Solar — along with wind — is projected to be one of Australia’s most important resources in the quest to generate 82 per cent of the country’s electricity using renewables by 2030, and eventually 100 per cent.

This is a very comprehensive overview of Australia's solar past present and future.

And you can Search for your suburb's rooftop solar count.
