Default CTP another successful well -March 2025

Central Petroleum Limited: Mereenie Field Production Update

Central Petroleum Limited (ASX:CTP) has announced that their WM30 production well at the Mereenie field was successfully connected and brought online on February 26, 2025. Key highlights include:

WM30 is currently producing over 4 TJ/d at the wellhead (100% JV)

Production is expected to stabilize between 4-4.5 TJ/d, exceeding pre-drill expectations of about 3 TJ/d

Combined with WM29, the two wells have increased Mereenie sales gas capacity by approximately 9 TJ/d

Total Mereenie field sales capacity is now about 32 TJ/d

The additional gas is being sold into the Northern Territory market under recently executed Gas Supply Agreements

Firm gas under these contracts can be expanded by up to 6 TJ/d (100% JV)

The project was delivered under the budgeted $8 million (CTP share) and ahead of schedule

Managing Director Leon Devaney noted that production rates are approximately 50% above pre-drill expectations and expressed appreciation to staff, contractors, and Joint Venture partners for safely delivering "reliable affordable energy to Territorians" despite challenging summer conditions.
