Japan comes looking for Rare Earths
According to the Australian Business section Japanese companies are increasingly focussing on Australian REE companies as they are worried that China might cut of their access to the "Electron-Economy".
"Japanese media have recently reported a high level of awareness in Japan of China's stranglehold on rare earths and, if Japan cannot find alternative supplies, its technology industries could be disadvantaged." "Rare earths, used in green technology, is dominated by China. In Australia there is Arafura and Lynas Corporation developing rare earths mines and we are keen to look in that area," Mr Harada said." http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au...005200,00.html Visit www.AustralianRareEarths.com for an up to date bird's eye view of Australia's Rare Earth ASX companies, market caps, issues and more
