Alkane Resources signs MOU ~$50 - $70m per year Zircon offtake

Some nice news from ALK today. ALK has the world's richest H-REE deposit and Australia's largest tantalum resource. But today's news is about their rather large Zircon deposit that they will be mining next year.

The company has inked a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with a yet to be named chemical company and a trading company. The deal should generate $US50-70 million per year on current pricing.

Better yet there is plenty more to come as Alkane says this is the first of several MOUs in the pipeline for the Dubbo project and would represent some 12-17% of projected annual revenue from its zirconium, niobium and rare earth elements deposit.

Alkane has previously announced a mine life of over 100 years for its Zircon....

Now lets wait and see how their gold mines and H-REE's stack up... whoops tantalum is worth watching as well as it has just been declared a strategic metal by China....
