Default Contra Rotating wind turbines- advantages

Brief summary

Contra-rotating floating wind turbines are more scalable than traditional horizontal-axis turbines. This means that they can be built in larger sizes and in deeper waters.

Contra-rotating floating wind turbines are less expensive to build and maintain than traditional
horizontal-axis turbines. This is because they have fewer moving parts and are easier to access.

Contra-rotating floating wind turbines are more efficient than traditional horizontal-axis turbines. This is because they can harvest wind from more directions.

The company plans to test a prototype of a contra-rotating floating wind turbine in 2023.
