Default Qld Highest uptake of EVs

The https://www.afr.com/life-and-luxury/...0230813-p5dw2w discusses the top 50 suburbs in Australia with the highest uptake of electric vehicles (EVs).

Summary:
In NSW, the top suburbs for EV uptake are in the affluent northern beaches, leafy inner-west and second CBD, Parramatta. In Victoria, the Toorak tractors of the moneyed inner-east are on the out, with suburbs in Greater Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay having a higher uptake of EVs. Outside of metropolitan regions, Queenslanders are lagging behind the rest of the country in terms of EV uptake.

The article attributes the high uptake of EVs in affluent areas to a number of factors, including:

The availability of charging infrastructure in these areas
The higher disposable incomes of residents in these areas, which makes it easier to afford the upfront cost of an EV
The environmental awareness of residents in these areas
The article also notes that the uptake of EVs is growing more rapidly in regional areas, as the cost of EVs decreases and the availability of charging infrastructure improves.

N.B. This summary does not mention the government's recent policies to support the uptake of EVs, while the original article discusses these policies in detail.
