Default QEM's Julia Creek project gets a significant resource boost

QEM's Julia Creek project gets a significant resource boost

Good news for QEM and Australia's clean energy future:

QEM's Julia Creek vanadium resource has increased by 28%, making it even more substantial.
The project also holds a significant amount of oil shale, with the estimated 2C resource going up by 32%.

This upgrade strengthens QEM's ambitions to become a key player in Australia's clean energy transition, using vanadium for long-duration energy storage batteries.

Collaborations with the University of Queensland are exploring ways to extract high-purity vanadium from waste streams, creating a "circular economy" solution.

Further drilling identified potential for additional revenue streams from by-products like copper, molybdenum, and nickel.

QEM is on track to release a scoping study in Q2 2024, a major step towards production.

Overall, this resource upgrade is a positive sign for QEM and its role in developing Australia's critical minerals resources and supporting the clean energy transition.
