NT Link Project: Gas pipeline proposal looks set to go through Mount Isa
The Mount Isa Mayor says a new pipeline carrying gas from the Northern Territory will almost certainly go through the north-west Queensland city.
The Queensland Government has declared the pipeline proposal a 'coordinated project', meaning it will work with the proponents through the environmental assessment process.There were 17 companies competing to build the NT Link Project to take gas from the NT to the southern states.
